"Seeing my students working with the acting coaches and learning how to use their bodies to create a character was fantastic. Learning to understand and use the chakras to show how their character feels without having to “play and emotion” was very helpful and reinforced their classroom learning. It was a joy to see students feel safe to explore outside their comfort zone and employ skills they’ve learned in the classroom through lessons learned in the About the Work Master Class. Coaches supported students' learning and exploration by providing opportunities for students to engage in critical conversations around character development, character relationships, and story arc as well as the chance to perform and put those skills into practice."
